Lovingly prepared by our skilled chefs and artisan bakers, the menus feature an exquisite selection of treats paired with freshly brewed loose-leaf teas sourced from the finest global producers.
Roots & Berries began in the summer of 2013, inspired by afternoons exploring London’s green spaces with family and friends. While these spaces offered undeniable charm, we noticed cafés often lacked the warmth their environments deserved. This realization fuelled our vision for more than just a café—a welcoming community hub offering quality food, comfort, and connection. Taking a leap of faith, we turned this idea into a network of thriving cafés in London’s most picturesque neighbourhoods. Supported by friends, family, and community, our cafés have become spaces where people gather to relax, connect, and recharge, allowing us to grow alongside the cherished green spaces that inspire us.
Our latest café in Ravenscourt Park exemplifies our mission. Situated in the historic Old Saddlery, part of the medieval Palingswick Manor estate, this venue has been gently refreshed to create a vibrant, welcoming space. Opened in 2023, the café offers expertly brewed coffee, seasonal ice cream, hearty meals, and a spacious outdoor terrace perfect for families, children, and even furry friends. Future renovations will further enhance the café’s charm, including transforming the upstairs room into a cosy seating area, in partnership with the Hammersmith Community Gardens.
