A welcoming Tea Room and Museum located in the famous White Cliffs country and opposite the beautiful 6-acre Pines Garden.
There is disabled access throughout the building.
Dogs are most welcome and are offered biscuits.
Run by The Bay Trust, the Tea Room provides wholesome home cooked dishes including soups, casseroles and pies in the colder months and various salads in the warmer months. Year-round favourites include the demi-baguettes which come with a choice of fillings on a daily basis.
There is an array of homemade cakes including Victoria sponge, coffee and walnut, chocolate and other local favourites including rhubarb and lemon and vanilla and berry.
Fruit and cheese scones are also a favourite and can feature as part of a cream tea which makes for great afternoon tea.
Vegetarian dishes are available daily. Vegan and gluten free dishes are available upon request.
From late October until Easter, Sunday Roasts are served weekly and include pork, beef, turkey and nut roast. Booking is recommended.
Outdoor seating is available on the terrace directly outside the Tea Room. During the Spring and Summer months, the Pines Garden Yurt also provides seating opposite the Tea Room entrance with wonderful views of the garden whilst enjoying our wonderful afternoon tea.
Every year, a Christmas menu is produced and throughout December, there is a wonderful seasonal atmosphere in which guests can dine on a traditional or unique festive meal. Booking is also recommended for this.
The Tea Room use locally sourced ingredients and suppliers. Some of the fruit and vegetables are sourced from the organic Pines Garden.
