Nestled opposite Liverpool’s iconic Three Graces, West Africa House sits at the heart of the city’s historic downtown. Built in the 1920s by architects Briggs, Wolstenholme, and Thorley, this distinguished building was once home to the former Bank of West Africa. Today, it is home to OH ME OH MY, one of the unique venues operated by the LEAF group. Established in 2013, this hidden gem captivated us with its charm and character, inspiring our vision to create a space that transitions seamlessly from a relaxed Tea House during the week to a vibrant events venue by night and on weekends.
Adding to its allure is our picturesque Roof Garden, aptly named Goodness Gracious, located on the 8th floor of the building. This elevated outdoor space offers what many consider the best view in the city, with breath taking sights of the world-famous Liver Birds just a stone’s throw away. Goodness Gracious provides a stunning and unforgettable backdrop, perfect for the events we proudly host.
OH ME OH MY is an exceptional city-centre venue for bringing together family and friends to celebrate life’s special moments. Our renowned Afternoon Tea is available on Thursdays, Fridays, and select weekends, offering an elegant setting for gatherings and meaningful occasions. For a more spirited experience, we occasionally host Disco Afternoon Tea—a delightful fusion of disco beats, delectable treats, and joyous dancing.
