Oolong Tea News

Oolong Tea (also known as Wu Long) is, to many, a middle ground between Green and Black Tea. This is in part due to the processing of the leaf. While at the factory, Oolong Tea is only partially oxidised, often resulting in a beverage with distinct notes of grass and malt.

In other words, it takes the flavour of both Black and Green Tea and combines them into one! This middle ground is also reflected in its caffeine levels and overall strength.

However, it’s fair to say that Oolong Tea doesn’t receive the recognition it sorely deserves. Here at The Kent and Sussex Tea and Coffee Company, we plan to change that. Below, you will find several articles exploring the ins and outs of this underrated brew.
