Black Spiral Tea is a top-grade Golden Black Tea from Guangxi province, China. It consists of wonderful loose leaf black tea with, as its name suggests, lots of spirally golden tips. When brewed, it produces a liquor with full-bodied notes of honey, cocoa and sweet potatoes.
A very rare Tea indeed – one that we pack fresh to order here at our Kent-based factory.
This infusion also contains a sizable amount of caffeine due to the processing of the leaf. Black Tea, as a rule of thumb, tends to have around 40-mg of this stimulant per 8-oz cup.
Our Black Spiral Tea is no exception, and is an excellent choice first thing in the morning. Most, however, choose it for its exceptional taste. Why not see for yourself? Buy and brew today.
About Tea from Guangxi
- Guangxi Province lies in southern China to the east of Yunnan and the south of Hunan.
- Climate is humid and tropical, its terrain mountainous.
- These conditions make for excellent Tea-growing – as our Black Spiral Tea stands testament.
- The region is famous for Black Tea, in particular, although it also makes Green and White Tea.
- It also grows Sweet Osmanthus Flowers, which we use in our Sweet Osmanthus Guangxi Guihua.
Why Choose Black Spiral Tea?
Some believe that Black Spiral Tea is at its best during the summer months. However, it is actually a very hardy Tea and keeps well over long periods.
If you, then, choose to only brew up every now and again, we guarantee it will taste just as great from first to last cuppa. Regardless of how long you hold onto this Tea, you’re undoubtedly in for a treat.
